Thymalin
What is Thymalin?

Thymalin is a bioregulator peptide that, like Thymosin Alpha-1, is derived from the thymus gland. However, Thymalin is often researched for its broader role in "bioregulatory therapy," aimed at restoring the thymus's ability to regulate the entire immune system and endocrine function.
In research contexts, it is frequently used in a very specific, short-term "reset" protocol rather than a continuous long-term cycle.

1. Reconstitution & Dosage
Thymalin usually comes in 10mg or 50mg vials. Because the standard research dose is quite high, the 10mg vial is the most common for a single course of treatment.
• Reconstitution: Add 2ml of Bacteriostatic Water to a 10mg vial.
• The Concentration: This creates 5mg per 1ml.
• The Dose: On a standard U-100 insulin syringe:
o 20 units (0.20ml) = 1mg
o 100 units (1.0ml) = 5mg
Common Research Dosages:
• Standard Protocol: 10mg daily (Requires two 5mg injections or a 2ml syringe).
• Conservative Protocol: 5mg daily.

2. The "Immune Reset" Cycle
Thymalin is unique because it is typically run as a 10-day intensive pulse once or twice a year.
Parameter Recommendation
Cycle Length 10 Consecutive Days
Frequency Once Daily
Annual Frequency Every 6 to 12 Months
Timing Evening, before bed (to align with natural immune repair).
The Logic: Bioregulator theory suggests that a short, high-dose "burst" provides enough signaling to the thymus gland to "reset" its natural production of T-cells and immune factors for several months.

3. Administration & Storage
• Injection Type: Subcutaneous (SubQ) or Intramuscular (IM). SubQ into the stomach fat is the most common research method.
• Storage: Once reconstituted, Thymalin is relatively stable but should be kept in the refrigerator.
• Handling: Like all peptides, do not shake the vial. Gently swirl to dissolve the powder.

4. Expected Effects & Safety
• Systemic Balance: Researchers look for improvements in sleep, resistance to common illnesses, and a general sense of "homeostasis."
• Side Effects: Very rare. Some report mild lethargy during the 10-day cycle as the immune system undergoes regulation.
• Contraindications: As with any immune-modulating peptide, it should be avoided by those on immunosuppressant medications or those with active malignancies unless under strict medical supervision.

Quick Checklist for a 10mg Course:
• Requirement: If running 10mg/day for 10 days, you would need 10 vials (100mg total).
• Supplies: 1ml or 3ml syringes depending on your daily volume.
• Storage: Store unmixed vials in the freezer for long-term stability; mixed vials in the fridge.
