LIPO-C w/o B12

What is LIPO-C w/o B12?

Lipo-C without B12 (often just referred to as MIC) is the concentrated blend of "lipotropic" compounds: Methionine, Inositol, and Choline.

While the B12 in the "Plus" version is great for energy, some researchers prefer the "Lipo-C Only" version if they are already taking a separate B-complex or if they find B12 injections make them too jittery at night.

1. The Concentration (The Math)
Since you are removing the B12, the solution is typically just the MIC amino acid blend. It usually comes in a 10ml or 30ml multi-dose vial.

Typical Concentration:
• Methionine: 25mg/ml
• Inositol: 50mg/ml
• Choline: 50mg/ml

Standard Research Dosage:
• 1ml (100 units) once or twice per week.
• Max Dose: Some aggressive protocols go up to 1ml three times per week, but it's best to start with once weekly to see how your liver and digestion respond.

2. The Cycle (Duration & Timing)

Parameter Recommendation
Cycle Length 8–12 Weeks
Frequency 1 to 2 times per week (e.g., Mon/Thu)
Timing Anytime.

Unlike the B12 version, this won't typically keep you awake at night, so evening injections are fine.

3. Why choose "Without B12"?
• Customization: It allows you to add a different form of B12 (like Methylcobalamin vs. Cyanocobalamin) if you have specific genetic requirements (like MTHFR mutations).
• Sensitivity: It’s better for those who are sensitive to the "energy rush" of B12 but still want the liver-detox and fat-mobilization benefits of MIC.
• Stacking: It’s easier to stack with other stimulants (like caffeine or fat burners) without feeling "over-amped."

4. Storage & Handling
• Room Temperature: MIC-only blends are generally more stable than those with B12 and can often be kept at room temperature in a cool, dark cupboard. However, check your vial's label—if it says "Refrigerate," stick to the fridge.
• Light Sensitivity: While less sensitive than B12, it should still be kept in a dark place to prevent the Methionine from degrading.

5. Potential Side Effects
• The "Sulfur" Effect: Methionine is a sulfur-containing amino acid. You might notice a slight "garlic" or "sulfur" smell in your breath or sweat for 24 hours post-injection.
• Mild Thirst: Lipotropics encourage the liver to process fat, which can be slightly dehydrating. Drink an extra glass of water on injection days.
• Digestion: Inositol and Choline can occasionally cause mild "rumbling" in the stomach.

Summary Checklist for your Log:
• Syringe: Use a 1ml (100 unit) syringe.
• Location: Use the High-Volume Sites (Glutes or Love Handles) we discussed, as 1ml is a lot of liquid for the front of the stomach.
• Rotation: Ensure you are alternating sides each week to keep the tissue healthy.
