IGF-1 LR3
What is IGF-1 LR3?

IGF-1 LR3 (Long Arginine 3-IGF-1) is a synthetic analogue of natural IGF-1. The "LR3" modification prevents it from being neutralized by binding proteins in the blood, giving it a much longer half-life (around 20–30 hours) compared to natural IGF-1 or the "DES" version.
Because it stays active for nearly a full day, it promotes systemic muscle cell hyperplasia (the creation of new muscle cells) and improved nutrient partitioning throughout the entire body.

1. Reconstitution & Dosage
IGF-1 LR3 usually comes in 1mg (1,000mcg) vials. Like the DES version, it is extremely fragile and stable only in specific environments.
• Reconstitution:
o Acetic Acid (0.6%): Recommended. Keeps the peptide stable for ~30 days in the fridge.
o Bacteriostatic Water: Only if used immediately; it degrades within 24–48 hours in Bac Water.
• Ratio: Add 1ml of Acetic Acid to a 1mg vial.
• Syringe Measurement (U-100 Insulin Syringe):
o 2 units (0.02ml) = 20mcg (Common starting dose)
o 4 units (0.04ml) = 40mcg (Standard research dose)
o 5 units (0.05ml) = 50mcg (Maximum recommended daily dose)

2. The Cycle (Systemic Growth)
Because of its long half-life, you do not need to inject at specific times to see results, but timing can help manage blood sugar.
Parameter Recommendation
Cycle Length 4 Weeks ON / 4 Weeks OFF (Maximum 6 weeks)
Frequency Once Daily
Timing Post-Workout or Morning (with a carb-heavy meal)
Crucial Warning: Do not exceed 6 weeks. Prolonged use can desensitize the IGF-1 receptors and potentially cause organ growth (specifically the intestines).

3. Administration
• Subcutaneous (SubQ): Standard injection into the abdominal fat. Because it is systemic, you do not need to inject into specific muscles.
• Intramuscular (IM): Can be used, but unlike DES, LR3 will eventually circulate throughout the whole body regardless of the injection site.

4. Storage & Stability
• Refrigeration: Absolute requirement.
• Gentle Handling: Never shake the vial; swirl gently to mix.
• Color: The solution should be crystal clear.

5. Potential Side Effects
• Hypoglycemia: This is the most immediate risk. IGF-1 LR3 significantly increases glucose uptake into cells. You must consume simple carbohydrates (40–50g) shortly after injection to avoid a "sugar crash," dizziness, or fainting.
• Lethargy: Some researchers report extreme tiredness during the day as the body diverts energy toward repair.
• Headaches: Often a sign of fluctuating blood sugar levels.

The "Mass" Stack
Researchers often stack IGF-1 LR3 with HGH or Growth Hormone Secretagogues (like Ipamorelin):
1. Ipamorelin: Triggers the liver to produce natural IGF-1.
2. IGF-1 LR3: Provides a secondary, exogenous "spike" of potent IGF-1 activity to maximize muscle cell creation.

Quick Checklist for a 1mg Vial:
• At 40mcg/day: One vial lasts 25 days.
• For a 4-week cycle: 1 vial is sufficient.
