Adamax

What is Adamax?

ADAMAX is an enhanced version of Semax, a neuropeptide originally developed in Russia for the treatment of stroke and cognitive decline. ADAMAX includes additional adamantane and acetyl groups, making it significantly more potent, longer-lasting, and better at crossing the blood-brain barrier than its predecessor.
In research, it is studied as a "limitless" style nootropic for its ability to increase BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor) and improve focus, memory, and neurological recovery.

1. Reconstitution & Dosage
ADAMAX is extremely potent. Most researchers prefer lower doses to avoid "over-stimulation." It typically comes in 10mg or 20mg vials.

• Reconstitution: Add 2ml of Bacteriostatic Water to a 10mg vial.
• The Concentration: This creates 5mg (5,000mcg) per 1ml.
• Syringe Measurement (U-100 Insulin Syringe):
o 2 units (0.02ml) = 100mcg (Starting "Micro" dose)
o 5 units (0.05ml) = 250mcg (Standard research dose)
o 10 units (0.10ml) = 500mcg (High-intensity dose)

2. The Cycle (Duration & Timing)
ADAMAX is best used during periods of high cognitive demand. Daily use for long periods is generally avoided to prevent receptor downregulation.

Parameter Recommendation
Cycle Length 2 to 4 Weeks
Frequency Once Daily (or 5 days ON / 2 days OFF)
Timing Morning, immediately upon waking.

The "Stimulation" Warning: Do not take ADAMAX in the evening. Its effects on dopamine and serotonin can lead to significant insomnia if administered too late in the day.

3. Administration: SubQ vs. Intranasal

• Subcutaneous (SubQ): Inject into the abdominal fat. This provides a steady, systemic release.

• Intranasal: Many researchers prefer ADAMAX as a nasal spray (using a specialized saline atomizer) for more direct delivery to the brain via the olfactory bulb. However, SubQ is more precise for dosage tracking.

4. Storage & Stability
• Refrigeration: Absolute requirement. ADAMAX is very sensitive to heat and will degrade rapidly if left at room temperature for more than a few hours.
• Handling: Do not shake the vial. Gently swirl to mix.
• Shelf Life: Best used within 21–30 days of mixing.

5. Potential Side Effects
• Over-stimulation: Feeling "wired," anxious, or jittery if the dose is too high.
• Headache: Often caused by the brain's increased demand for acetylcholine. (Pairing with a choline source like Alpha-GPC can mitigate this).
• Hair Thinning: Like high doses of Semax, some researchers report temporary hair shedding with long-term, high-dose use due to the massive increase in BDNF.

The "Super-Brain" Stack
Researchers often stack ADAMAX with P21:
1. ADAMAX: Increases focus and BDNF (the "software" upgrade).
2. P21: Promotes neurogenesis and the growth of new neurons (the "hardware" upgrade).

Quick Checklist for a 10mg Vial:
• At 250mcg/day: One vial lasts 40 days.
• At 500mcg/day: One vial lasts 20 days.
